At Extendicare Michener Hill, we are home to up to 60 residents in our Supportive Living environment. A beautiful home with a soaring open atrium main lobby, Michener Hill is designed as a “campus of care”. It is comprised of “households” and includes a Central Village Area that offers amenities and services to all residents.
Each Supportive Living household has capacity for 30 residents, each with a private room. A small number of rooms have a shared bedroom, should a couple wish to designate one room for a sitting room and the other for a bedroom.
Each household has a public lounge area with a mail box feature, activation space and a dining area with an attached serving area. Each dining area has a seating capacity of 32 residents and can accommodate wheelchairs.
Resident responsibilities include personal laundry, hair care, personal goods and services, transportation for recreational purposes, medications, adaptive equipment as needed and hygiene supplies as needed.
Services provided by Michener Hill include nursing services, personal care services, recreational therapy, meals and meal service, weekly housekeeping, social and leisure activities, utilities (excluding cable and telephone) and routine maintenance,
